Movie: “The Kite Runner” Released in theaters December 2007. Starring Khalid Abdalla, Shaun Toub and Atossa Leoni, “Kite Runner” tells the story of Amir, who after spending years in California, returns to his homeland in Afghanistan to help his old friend Hassan, whose son is in trouble.
