Slowly but surely, all of the marriage announcements are being cataloged into this easily searchable database.

Wonder how it works?

Find Marriage
While this form is not searchable, clicking on the link takes you to the searchable form

Once you've put in a searchable term in the form, click Search. The results show which newspaper the marriage announcement appeared and the date it appeared in. In many cases, the actual date of the marriage is included as well.

Countless hours of volunteers have made this resource possible to genealogists with family in this area.

What's @ the Movies is in your Library

Sometimes the book is better than the movie.

Join us as we discover the books behind some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters…new and old.

All of the books featured here can be found at your local Little Dixie Regional Library!

Book: “One for the Money” by Janet Evanovich (1994)
Welcome to Trenton, New Jersey, home to Stephanie Plum, who sports a big attitude and even bigger money problems (since losing her job as a lingerie buyer). Stephanie needs cash--fast--but times are tough, and soon she's forced to turn to the last resort of the truly desperate: family. Stephanie lands a job at her sleazy cousin Vinnie's bail bonding company with zero experience and no problem that the bail jumper in question is local vice cop and ex-boyfriend Joe Morelli.

Movie: “One for the Money” Releases in theaters: July 8, 2011. Starring Katherine Heigl, John Leguizamo, Debbie Reynolds and Sherri Shepherd, “One for the Money” tells the story of newly-divorced Stephanie Plum. The story follows her as she lands a job at her cousin's bail-bond business, where her first assignment puts her on the trail of a wanted local cop from her romantic past.
