Books with a Beat - Teen Read Week

BOOKS WITH A BEAT
TEEN READ WEEK OCTOBER 17TH – 23RD

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Monday, October 18th
Beat a path to change – To kick off the week, swing by the programming room to learn how you can make a difference at your library. Participants between the ages of 12 and 18, will get a cool cup for helping to compose the Little Dixie Library RAP!

Tuesday, October 19th
Books with a Beat – Check out a Playaway Audio Book.  Write a recommendation for the book and get a cool cup when you return it.

Wednesday, October 20th
Walk the Beat – Learn more about the great literary detectives that walk the beat of our imagination.

Thursday, October 21st
Poetic Beat – Use song lyrics to write a poem. Poems submitted will be subject to display! Enjoy some light snacks and refreshments.

Friday, October 22nd
Music Hunt- Do you have the Beat?! Bop down the aisles and locate Books (and tapes, and movies, and games) with a Beat. Get a cool cup when you return your completed hunt.

Programs are from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day
 at the Moberly Library in the Programming Room
