Classic books with Exotic Locations

“Around the World in 80 Days” by Jules Verne (1873) A Victorian gentleman and his valet win a bet that they can go around the world in only 80 days.

“Into the Heart of Borneo” by Redmond O’Hanlon (1985) The story of a 1983 journey to the center of Borneo, which no expedition had attempted since 1926. O'Hanlon, accompanied by friend and poet James Fenton and three native guides brings wit and humor to a dangerous journey.

“Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson (1883) An innkeeper's son finds a treasure map that leads him to a pirate's fortune.
